The Summer Series GP

Tuesday 19th April is the very first race in the Tyne Bridge Harriers Summer Series GP. Club Captain, Paul Hilton requests that as many Tyne Bridge Harriers turn out as possible for this exciting 1st race.

The course is an exact 2 mile (measured on several different Garmin) route, starting and finishing on Armstrong Bridge, Jesmond Dene.

Meet as normal at Byker Pool, & warm up by running to Armstrong Bridge with Race starting at 19:00.

As this is the 1st Race in the ‘The Series’, everyone will start at the same time. All subsequent races in ‘The Series’ will be ran using a handicap system.

We need everyone to turn out to race or to help with times and marshaling – no excuses.

This race will also be a big factor in deciding the teams picked for the Good Friday Relays (1st, 2nd, 3rd teams and also which leg they will run)
