Congratulations to Chris Thompson, Jo Soulsby and Joanne Lee who recorded parkrun PB’s during Saturday’s run.
Although the ground was damp after heavy rain showers through the night, by the time the race started at 9am, conditions were ideal for running. Six Tyne Bridge Harriers’ took part in the event, and first finisher for the club was Tony Carter in a time of 17.33, and 3rd position overall.
Next Saturday, 2nd July, sees the 4th race of the club’s parkrun series take place, and with 3 races remaining and only a few points separating the top 5 places, the race to be crowned overall winner is still wide open.

Was a nice day for it. Sorry I couldn’t hang around too see how everyone got on. Had to dash! The hoppings adjusted course was interesting, though I completely misjudged the finish and went for it about 300 yards too early. Whoops! Theres a good chunk of runners getting pb’s every week these days! The training sessions are obviously working wonders for all
