Just a quick reminder that this Tuesday (19th July) is the 4th race in our Club ‘Summer Series’ GP so we are hoping for an excellent turn-out as it has also been proposed that we take this opportunity to get a club photo taken by our resident photographer.

The exact 2 Mile blast around Jesmond Dene starts a 19:00 at the far end of Armstrong Bridge. It’s a handicap race so slower runners set off first and start times of following runners are staggered depending on last race result. It’s a race to finish first and points are awarded depending on your position on the night. 50 points for a win, decreasing by a point per finishing position..simples

Club members can either meet at the pool at the usual time for a warm up run to the start or just meet up at Armstrong Bridge before 19:00.

Chris Thompson has a bit of a lead at the moment but all of this can easily change. Marc Fenwick & Kenny Mac are hot on Mr. Thompsons heels.

Club vests look great when they are put to some use and get worn :-)

see you there.
