Tyne Bridge Harriers will be turning out for the annual Xmas Pudding Run in Whitley Bay on Boxing Day Monday 26th December 2011.
The popular run is jointly organised by Woodlawn Parents & Friends Association (WPFA) and North Shields Polytechnic Running Club (NSP), and is a 3½ mile Run around Whitley Bay sea front.
The course is on footpaths and starts and finishes at the War Memorial on the Links opposite Whitley Bay’s Spanish City. Everyone who finishes gets a certificate and a pudding.
Entry fees, payable on the day, are £6 for adults and £3 for under 16s. Race registration will start at 9.00am. Once again Start Fitness will be providing spot prizes and Diner 2000 will be bringing their mobile catering unit to the seafront so that runners, supporters and organisers will be able to buy a warming drink before, during or after the Run.
The race will be started at 10:30 by Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell.
All proceeds of the run go to help support WPFA & Woodlawn School www.woodlawn.org.uk

Some of the members will also be going for an easy 6 mile run after the race, and all are welcome to tag along.
I’ll be coming from Gateshead if anyone wants picked up on the way!
