Tyne Bridge Harriers will be well represented in the forthcoming Cross Country International in Belfast on November 10th.

Kenny Mac V40 (Scotland), Keith Smith V45 (England) and Steve Cairns V45 (Northern Ireland) will face each other at the historical Stormont course, and with Club Captain Paul Hilton down as a reserve in the V40 category there is a distinct possibility that we will have four athletes on the start line.

The other remarkable item of note is that Keith Smith is 4 days away from being 50 years of age and Kenny Mac is 18 days away from his 45th birthday on the day of the race.

Old campaigner Steve Cairns has represented Northern Ireland at both Senior and Veteran level.

Kenny is busy trying to secure a Welsh and Southern Irish Veteran for 2013 inclusion.

Tyne Bridge Harriers congratulate every one of the four lads and wish them all the best for the forthcoming fixture. May the best man (and country) win.
