In nigh-on perfect conditions for racing, there was once again a magnificent turn-out by Tyne Bridge Harriers for the Blyth 10k RR.
First finisher for the club, coming home in 10th place overall, was Sparrow Morley with a splendid time of 33:56. Next finisher was K Mac, collecting the 2nd V45 prize thanks to his time of 35:27. David Daniels was awarded 3rd prize in the V40 category.
First lady for the club was Sophie Marr, who despite narrowly missing out on her pre-race target of sub 40 minutes for the 2nd week in a row will come back stronger and achieve her goal soon.
Congratulations to all the runners who recorded PB’s and many thanks to the members who came along to offer support.

Blackpool Half and Full Marathon: 7 April 2013.
Also racing this weekend were Ryan Hogben and Emma Wright. Ryan smashed his marathon PB by recording a superb time of 3:51:22, while Emma ran a terrific time of 1:45:13 in the Half. Well done to the both of them.
Pinchinthorpe Plod Fell Race: 7 April 2013.
Congratulations must also go to David Beech for his 2nd place in today’s Pinchinthorpe Plod Fell Race, North Yorks. After a poor start to the year, it’s great to see David coming back into form and hopefully a summer free of injury and bad luck.

Excellent running everyone, and a huge well done to all you PB ers…
Well done everybody. Just how fast can Keith Rooney get, I wouldn’t bet on him not getting under 40 mins for 10k.
Sparrow back to his best, lots of inner club battles out there.
For those that didn’t run to plan, including me, don’t give up, fight and your day will come.
