After six close fought races, the winner of the 2013 TBH Summer Series is..

Following the first race of the series – where all competitors received 100 points – Micky then produced four consistently high quality runs in the series, meaning that by playing his ‘joker’ card – volunteering in the final race of the series and therefore receiving 350 pts – Micky was virtually guaranteed overall victory in the competition.

His only rival for the title was Joanne Wood, whom need a top 16 finish in the final race of the series but could only finish in 65th position.

Many thanks to every one who participated throughout the series, especially those members who marshalled or helped with the administration of the series.

Points scoring:

A runner receives 100 pts for 1st place, 99 for 2nd, 98 for 3rd etc.

A member receives 350 pts for volunteering the 1st time, and then 50 pts every subsequent time.

  1. Well done Micky! Thanks to Paul, DD and everyone else who puts their time and effort in to organise these and make them happen.

    Please do not tell Chris “Champ” Graham that he is missing 300 points for marshalling for the first time in the final race otherwise he beats me by 7 points. Thank you.
