Huge congratulations to Kevin Jeffress, Sparrow Morley, Darryl Davison, Keith Smith, Tony Carter and Marc Fenwick whom – as a six-man relay team – finished in 57th position (out of 78) at this year’s National 6-Stage Road Relay Championships.
When Tyne Bridge Harriers was formed in the early 2011, one of it’s aim’s was to develop into a competitive force within the North-East and then eventually (hopefully a few years down the line), participate at national level. But to compete at this prestigious event for the 2nd year running was surely beyond the dreams of any of founding members.
Well done lads.
TBH were one of four North East clubs competing in the event, with Morpeth finishing a superb 4th position, Gateshead in 45th and Jarrow & Hebburn in 63rd. Congratulations to them all.

To the near 300 members of this club, please try to understand the significance of this achievement. To qualify for a national final is a huge achievement for any club. For a club only two years old it is almost unheard of, we should be enormously proud of what we have achieved and potentially where we can go. Well done to the TBH 6!
Huge big congratulations boys!!!! Some great runs!!! Sorry I could not be there but I will keep training hard to get back into the team.
Fantastic result, well done lads!
