The results from today’s race at Shibdon Pond, Blaydon, make for happy reading for Tyne Bridge Harriers.
In the Senior Ladies event, Louise Rodgers ran a fantastic race, finishing 2nd overall but technically 1st as the first person over the line was a non-counter (nc). Louise was just one of 20 ladies who turned out for the club, helping the team finish in 3rd position in Division One.
Senior Ladies results can be found here.
In the Senior Men’s event, victory was brought home thanks to Sparrow Morley, Domonic Munnelly, David Beech, James Dunce, Chris Graham and Douglas Tickner, who all finished inside the Top 30. But I’m sure the six counters will agree that today’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the strong performances from the rest of the TBH team who packed out the field. Congratulations to all the lads.

The day kicked off with the junior races, and representing the club were Leodhais MacPherson (right) in the U13 Boys, Jane Harland in the U13 Girls and Niamh Hall in the U15 Girls. Well done young un’s.
Many thanks to all the race officials and volunteers for putting on a great event.

Well done guys and gals, an excellent result.
The TBH Ladies were 3rd, not 4th. The results need amending. On our way to glory…Mind you, that club, Morpeth look good, they could push us all the way. Let’s build on this comrades. All the way to the top!
