Well done to everyone who took part in Sunday’s Run Northumberland Half Marathon (Sunday, 16th March 2014).
Extremely strong westerly winds, together with an undulating course, made for difficult running conditions throughout the race. First back for the club was Tim Kelso (8th overall), closely followed by Dave Moir who claimed 1st VM45 prize.
The trio of Tim, Dave and Ian Laidler helped Tyne Bridge win the Men’s Team prize.

Despite the awful conditions, several members (going by the RunBritain website) attained PB during the race, so many congratulations to Dave Moir, Edwin Wong, Nick Pearson, Philip Scott, Adam Jones, Lindsay Walsh, Asari Rashid, Shaun Cowan, Annette Kelly, Nicola Brady and Scott Wilkinson.
The race was won by Yared Hagos (Wallsend) with Delyth James (Morpeth Harriers) 1st lady.
