Montagu & North Fenham Under 8’s football team recently competed in the Blackpool Youth Football Tournament (3rd & 4th May, 2014).
And their connection with Tyne Bridge Harriers I hear you ask?
Well, not only is the team managed by club member Gary Harland, and features his son Michael (a member of TBH Juniors), but the team proudly wear Tyne Bridge Harriers sponsored football strips.

Gary writes, “We had a great time playing against bigger opposition teams and managed to finish 4th out of 6 teams in our league, scoring 7 goals along the way.
All good stuff and will stand us in good stead for next year when hopefully we will return to compete in the tournament against teams our own age”.
I’m sure everyone at the club wishes Montagu & North Fenham all the best in the future.
