Middlesbrough 5k: Sunday, 1st June

For most of the members this was their first time running this particular race and the general consensus afterwards was of a fantastic route and a superbly organised event (surely every event should be marshalled by stormtroopers :-) ) . Congratulations to Sophie Marr on her 5th place finish in the ladies race.

The Yomp (Kirby Stephen): Sunday, 1st June

Well done to John Tollitt for completing the Full Yomp (23 miles and 4000′ of ascent) in 4 hr 08 mins and to Vicki Deritis for completing the Half Yomp (11.5 miles and 2000′ of ascent) in 3 hr 08 minutes.
