This week’s training sessions are;

 

Tuesday 1st July

Race 4 of TBH Summer Grand Prix Series.

This is a two Mile race through Jesmond Dene and is open to all members and new runners to the club.

The race starts and finishes under Armstrong Bridge (just along from Pet’s Corner) and will get under way at 7:00pm.

All competitors are requested to register at East End Pool between 6:00 – 6:30pm before making their way to the race start (one mile away).

Runners who have competed in an earlier race must re-use the number they were previously allocated.

Wednesday 2nd July

Technqiue & Strength session, 6:45-7:30am at Warwick Street City Stadium.
Session will be 45 minutes in duration and will consist of running based pilates, plyometrics and drills. All members are welcome.

TBH Junior’s, 6:00pm at Walker Technical College (NE6 4LA).

Beginner’s session, 6:30pm at East End Pool.  This session is for anyone who is completely new to running and who would like to experience the benefits and enjoyment of this leisure activity.  It will not involve speed work and will purely be about getting into the sport and experiencing the benefits of doing so with the support of a running club. Runners may then choose to progress into the Tuesday/Thursday sessions for more structured training if they wish to do so.

 

 

Thursday 3rd

Group 1. 27 minutes Tempo Surge
Group 2. 25 minutes Tempo Surge
Group 3. 23 minutes Tempo Surge
Group 4. 21 minutes Tempo Surge
Group 5. 20 minutes Tempo Surge

 

New runners are always welcome along on a club night to try out the training sessions.

There’ll be no pressure to join, no expectation to run beyond your means and you won’t be left behind to run on your own.
