It gives me great pleasure to announce Alan Hodgson as June’s Member of the Month.

The month got off to a great start with Alan recording his quickest 5k time for 4 years at the Middlesbrough 5K, this was followed by a respectable showing at the British Masters 5K Championships, finishing 37th overall and 6th in his age category, and after recording a parkrun PB at Albert Park parkrun, Alan rounded off the month by securing a Gold medal in the North East Masters T&F Championships by winning his age category in the 5000 metres.

Just checked club website over a coffee in Portugal , great suprise to be named member of the month,I have only been running 4 years so chuffed to be picked by such a excellent club and committee- I am looking forward to getting better and better- well its impossible not under the guidance of such an excellent club,thank you.
