To celebrate a successful first term for the TBH Juniors, the club are arranging a Relay Fun Run for adult and junior TBH members.

The event, held on the field opposite the Freeman Hospital on Wednesday 30th July, will consist of 4-person teams, made up of a senior man, senior lady, a veteran and a junior.

There are already 15 juniors signed up to race and we’re now on the hunt for adults runners to complete the teams.

All members are welcome to take part, from Group 1 to Group 5, and teams will be pre-selected to ensure a fair race.

Adult members will run a large lap and junior runners either a medium or small lap, depending upon their age and/or ability.

It’s free to take part, there are no prizes for the winner’s, no wooden spoon for the losers, it’s all about having fun and making the juniors feel part of the club.

There may even be a cake or two for the runners afterwards :-)

And even if you’re unable to run at the moment, you can still be part of the event by volunteering to help out.

Members are asked to meet in the park around 6:30pm, with the event getting underway at 6:45pm.
