This week’s training sessions are;
Monday 28th
Strength & Technical Session; 6:00pm at City Stadium, Warwick Street.
One hour session incorporating running drills, core exercises and stretches. The session will also involve a (dreaded ) beep test and strength tests. All members are welcome to attend.
Tuesday 29th
Group 1. 5 x 1 minute, 4 x 2 minutes, 3 x 3 minutes.
Group 2. 5 x 1 minute, 4 x 2 minutes, 3 x 3 minutes.
Group 3. 5 x 1 minute, 4 x 2 minutes, 3 x 3 minutes.
Group 4. 5 x 1 minute, 4 x 2 minutes, 3 x 3 minutes.
Group 5. 5 x 1 minute, 4 x 2 minutes, 3 x 3 minutes.
Wednesday 30th
Technical drills and 3M Run; 6:45am at City Stadium.
All members are welcome to this early morning run through Heaton Park / Jesmond Dene. The pace is only as fast as the last runner, with no-one left trailing behind. And the good thing is, you can enjoy the rest of the day knowing you’ve already been out for a run.
Beginners Session; 6:30pm at East End Pool.
This one hour session is aimed for new runners and those looking to take their first steps in this fabulous sport. No-one is asked to run beyond their means and no-one will be left behind during the session.
TBH Relay Fun Run; 6:30pm at Freeman Hospital playing fields.
A relay fun run with teams consisting of a senior male athlete, a senior female athlete, a veteran athlete and a junior athlete. Further details can be found on the website here.
Thursday 31st
Group 1. Hills followed by 500m reps.
Group 2. Hills followed by 90s reps.
Group 3. Hills followed by 90s reps.
Group 4. Hills followed by 60s reps.
Group 5. Hills followed by 60s reps.
(note: number of hills & reps to be confirmed by Group Leader).
All sessions to include warm-up & cool-down runs, technical drills and post-run stretches.

Runners are always welcome along on a club night to try out the training sessions.
There’ll be no pressure to join, no expectation to run beyond your means and you won’t be left behind to run on your own.
