Tyne Bridge Harriers have received some excellent news that will help the club continue to develop its coaching network.

Sport Newcastle, a local sports development charity, have awarded the club £1,000 towards our coach development network. The growth of the club in the last 4 years has been huge, to the point where we have almost 400 members.

This increase requires the coaching infrastructure to grow in line with the club membership. The award of the grant enables the club to continue with our strategy of assisting members to achieve their coaching qualifications from the Leader in Running Fitness through to the club Coach award and to make a contribution back to the club in the form of coaching hours.

Our head coach Dave Anderson will work with members to identify development opportunities and try to ensure our coach network is able to cope with the demands of our growing club.

Tyne Bridge Harriers would like to thank Sport Newcastle for their support and look forward to forging a long term partnership to help encourage the development of and increase participation in sport in our fantastic city.
