Picking a Member of the Month for March was an incredibly difficult decision for the selection committee, largely due to the number of outstanding performances throughout the month.

Cees van der Land finished 3rd in the Coniston 14M RR, Alastair Spanner took 1st MV40 prize at Gragside 10K and Alison Dargie ran superbly in the Hull 20M to finish 2nd Lady.

And then there was the pocket dynamo from Seaham, Louise Rodgers, who knocked out two PB’s in March.

The first came during the Thirsk 10M (64m 36s) and the second in the Hartlepool 5M, where Louise ran 31m 20s.

Louise was also a major factor in TBH women winning the NEHL title.

But rising above everyone else, with several fantastic results in March, was this month’s winner TOM CHARLTON.

Tom’s achievements included; a 3rd place finish in the Silverstone Half Marathon; being part of the 12-Man team that finished 10th in the Northern Road Relays; and a victory in the Run Northumberland Half Marathon.

Congratulations TOM
