MBNA Chester Marathon: Sunday 4 October 2015

Clear blue skies and warm sunshine made for ideal conditions for this scenic race through the picturesque setting of Chester and it’s surrounding countryside. Sadly however, an enforced toilet break half-way through the race and the undulating nature of the course in the final few miles put paid to a sub-3 hour time, but I’m still happy with my result and for the experience of finishing one of the most well-supported races I’ve had the pleasure of running. And the goodie bag wasn’t too bad either – if you like sweets! DD
