All groups: 4 miles (or 30 minutes) easy run, with strides.

Children between 6 & 16 yrs old are welcome to try out a session, but children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Beginners ClassEast End Pool6:15 - 6:30pm
Session is ideal for people looking to take-up running or those returning from injury. The group run about 3 miles at a pace suitable for everyone.
Clive Cookson 10K RaceMonkseaton High School - NE25 9EQ6:30 - 7:15pm
This event also doubles as Tyne Bridge Harriers Club Championship race.(click here for directions)Race starts at 7:30pm
Thursday1 minute RepsEast End Pool6:15 - 6:30pm
All Groups. 10 x 1 minute (98% effort, with 1 minute recoveries).
SaturdayTrack SessionChurchill Playing Fields (Monkseaton)10:45am for an 11am start
12 x 400m (incl. w/u & c/d)

 

New runners are always welcome along on a club night to try out the training sessions.

There’ll be no pressure to join, no expectation to run beyond your means and you won’t be left behind to run on your own.

Important notice. Following discussions with the owners of East End Pool, members & new runners attending Tuesday & Thursday club sessions must head towards the main reception desk where a Committee member and/or Group coach will direct you to the members new meeting point beside the pool. Out of courtesy to the pool staff and their customers, members are asked to keep volume down to a minimum whilst inside the building.
