  1. Just to say that Lloyd Park is a lovely Park Run – it’s an undulating route, with one actual up+down hill, two laps round, on grass, mostly mud, paths, with some of it under trees. Except it was all heavily rutted and very uneven following a cross country there the week before, which had then frozen hard, and acquired an icy frosted layer overnight – so I’m just glad I got round and kept upright!
Friendly bunch, and runners who’ve been up here were keen to tell me how much they like running in the North East :-)
Definitely recommend it as a Park Run to do – maybe in better weather if you’re after a speedy time!

    Sue
