Just to say that Lloyd Park is a lovely Park Run – it’s an undulating route, with one actual up+down hill, two laps round, on grass, mostly mud, paths, with some of it under trees. Except it was all heavily rutted and very uneven following a cross country there the week before, which had then frozen hard, and acquired an icy frosted layer overnight – so I’m just glad I got round and kept upright!
Friendly bunch, and runners who’ve been up here were keen to tell me how much they like running in the North East
Definitely recommend it as a Park Run to do – maybe in better weather if you’re after a speedy time!
