Ralph Dickinson from Blyth Harriers is organising another trip for this year’s London Marathon.
Trip Itinerary;
Saturday, April 21st
Your coach will depart from pickup points along the A1 corridor between Ashington and Scotch Corner and
make the journey south to London, stopping once for refreshment en route. On arrival, you will be taken to
your hotel, where your accommodation is reserved. After booking in, the coach will take you to the Marathon
Registration and Exhibition, and will wait for a short time to return you to your hotel. If you wish to spend
longer at the exhibition you can return to your hotel by the Underground in your own time. The evening is
free to ‘carbo load’, or take in a show.
Sunday, April 22nd
This morning, the coach will depart from the hotel at 7.30a.m. and take runners to the Marathon start area
at Blackheath. You will arrive in ample time for the race start at 9.30a.m. After the race you can walk or
take the underground to your hotel. For non-runners, the day is free to watch the race, sight-see, or shop.
Monday, April 23rd
This morning is free to relax or shop. The departure time from the hotel, for the return journey north, will be 12.00 noon, arriving in the North East about 7.00pm.

£275.00 BASED ON 12 TRAVELLERS,
£245.00 BASED ON 16 TRAVELLERS,
£225.00 BASED ON 20 TRAVELLERS,
and includes:-
Return luxury coach travel.
Accommodation for two nights at the Central Park Hotel London, 49-67 Queensborough Terrace, London
W2 3SY (Based on two people sharing a twin/double room).
I’ve been on this organised trip twice before and I’d thoroughly recommend it. It removes the stress of travelling between hotel and Expo on the Saturday and getting to the start on race day.
If you’re interested in the trip, leave a comment below and I’ll pass your details to Ralph.

☝️I concur with the above. Just booked this again as it takes all the planning out of the London trip. Always a good central hotel and dropped off at Expo and the race start. ✔️
