Our hugely popular race runs on Newcastle Quayside is provisionally planned for Tuesday 8th July 2025. Its a fast, mainly flat, out & back 5 mile course along the quayside passing the iconic bridges of the Tyne. Entries will open as soon as we have council approval.
Minimum age for entry is 16. The race often incorporates the NEMAA and 5 mile county championships.
Race HQ and registration is at The Tyne Bar on Maling Street, with registration beginning from 5:30 pm and closing at 6:45 pm. The race HQ is approximately 800 metres from the start on the Quayside and there will be an area set aside at The Tyne Bar for runners to store baggage. The race starts and finishes on Newcastle’s historic Quayside passing seven of the rivers iconic bridges.
