Wednesday training: temporary change of location / meeting place
Due to the Hoppings taking place on Newcastle Town Moor, on Wednesday 26 June and Wednesday 3 July the club will be meeting 6-7pm at the Newcastle High School for Girls school field.

The next athletics meet for NEYDL #3 is Sunday 30 June. Please note change of venue to Churchill Track, Whitley Bay – not Morpeth as previously advertised.
Parents / guardians are asked to email coach Kirsteen Kilgour juniors@tynebridgeharriers.com with the events your junior wants to do.

Venue 30 June: Churchill Athletics Track, Hartley Avenue, Whitley Bay NE26 3NT.
There is parking on the streets close to the track, which is then a short walk away. It is also a few minutes’ walk from Monkseaton Metro station. Bring food, drinks, picnic blankets, chairs and suncream / hats / waterproofs, depending on the weather (there is no shop, shelter or seating at this venue, but there is usually an icecream van!).
Sunderland road races, Thursday 11 July.
Coach Paul O’Mara has posted on Facebook to encourage juniors aged 11 and over to enter the Sunderland Harriers 5k and Junior 2 mile road races. Some juniors are signed up already. You will need to enter your junior online: Sunderland Harriers: 2024 Sunderland 5K Road Race
Training w.c. Monday 24 June
Quayside run: 6-7pm Monday 24 June
Steady ‘out and back’ run for juniors who can run a comfortable sub 30 mins 5k.
Meet: At the Cycle Hub car park at the Quayside (free to park) https://www.thecyclehub.org
Please speak to a coach before attending for the first time. All runners need hi-vis clothing.

Meet: Please drop the juniors off and collect at the Newcastle High School for Girls school field. All parents / guardians can stay and watch.
If you are a parent or guardian of an under 12 junior (s), for safeguarding reasons you must go into the field to drop off and collect your child.
The entrance to the field is on Abbotsford Terrace, Jesmond, opposite the Fleming Business Park (the second field on the left after you turn onto Abbotsford Terrace from Clayton Road).
There is parking nearby but it could be busy due to the Hoppings.
