Kevin Cheetham Trophy
We award our inter club Kevin Cheetham Trophy in memory of our dear friend and and club mate. The trophy is awarded to the team with the lowest points finishing positions of the 1st senior female, 1st vet female, 1st senior male and 1st vet male (full rules below)
Individual and Team Prizes
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st, 2nd and 3rd overall (Male and Female, based on gun time)
1st, 2nd and 3rd in age categories (based on chip time), including a bonus for the fastest male vet and female vet. Age categories with 5 entries or fewer awarded 1st place only, age categories with 6-10 entries awarded 1st and 2nd place only.
Male: V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65+
Female: V35, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65+
Team prizes (Teams of 3): Senior Male, Senior Female, Veteran Male (V40) and Veteran Female (V35).
Individual prizes will be limited to one per person and awarded at the higher value.

The Kevin Cheetham Trophy Rules
i) The trophy is awarded to the team with the lowest points finishing positions of the 1st senior female, 1st vet female, 1st senior male and 1st vet male. Points are counted for each group separately i.e. the first senior female, V40 female, senior male and V40 male are all awarded 1 point, the second senior female, V40 female, senior male and V40 male are awarded 2 points etc. Non-club runners are included in the count.
ii) Veterans for this award are deemed to be V40 for both sexes.
iii) If the points award is equal then the first club to have all runners across the line (i.e. the team with the lowest scoring ‘4th counter’) will be the winner, regardless of age categories.
iv) Two veterans are unable to claim the positions should they be the first runners home, there must be a senior (under 40) and veteran (over 40) in each category for the award to be valid.
v) The Race Director’s decision is final.
