Morpeth Harrier Ross Floyd takes the honour of winning the inaugural Bridges Of The Tyne 5 Mile Road Race on Newcastle Quayside in a time of 25:55. on a rainy evening 273 runners turned out to take part in this exciting new race on the North East calendar. Tomorrow (18th October) sees the first race in the Tyne Bridge Harriers Winter Grand Prix series. An exact 5K looped course of Newcastle Quayside, taking in crossings of both the Swing Bridge and the Millennium Bridge.
Congratulations to Victoria Waugh who completed the Junior Mini Run yesterday on Newcastle / Gateshead Quayside. Running in the very tracks of one of her sporting heroes Mo Farah, Victoria ran a pleasing 20:59
